Dakang Studio. is a family owned Spielen Sie Pokern Online business. We bring years of dance and gymnastics training, teaching, performing, and choreography. Our staff has additional backgrounds in elementary education, theatre, and occupational and physical therapy. We are all very committed to promoting your children’s physical and artistic success while enhancing their self-esteem and confidence.

Classes

Most of our classes are one hour in length and meet one time a week.

Class Descriptions and Attire

Combination classes: Classes consisting primarily of tap and ballet (with an introduction to jazz) along with creative movement and exercise for dancers age two through eight. Dancers will need pink ballet shoes, tan tap shoes (bow or buckle), & leotard and tights of any color and style. Different color shoes may be used in class until performance time.

Ballet/Pointe: Students in ballet learn classical ballet theory & terminology, practice technique at the barre and on the floor, develop flexibility and strength, and build skill in performing combinations of slow controlled movements and ballet routines. Select students may be invited to study pointe after an evaluation by the instructors. Ballet dancers need to wear full leotards and tights, pink ballet or pointe shoes appropriately sewn with elastic and ribbons, and hair tied back neatly. Baggy shirts and dance pants are not allowed. Ballet students generally perform in the December production of the Nutcracker Ballet and participate in the annual recital. The specific dress code is available at the studio.

Lyrical: Lyrical classes are available for students ten and older with a minimum of two years ballet training. Lyrical dance is an expressive art form combining jazz and ballet technique which uses strong emotion and showmanship. This class includes modern dance technique and combinations. Any dance wear is acceptable with lyrical sandals or gore boots.

Jazz: Jazz classes consist of upbeat jazz technique including strengthening, flexibility, combinations and routines incorporating classical jazz, hip-hop and funk. Dancer will need leotard and tights of any style, tan jazz shoes or gore boots.

Jumps and Turns: This class is specifically designed to work on tricks, including leaps, jumps, and turn techniques coupled with routines and combinations of these skills. This class only for technique and will not perform in the recital. Dancewear of any style is required and gore boots are recommended.

Boys Class: Back by popular demand, this class is designed for strengthening, flexibility, jazz work and technique. Some partnering and lift work will be included. For boys seven and older. Black gore boots or jazz sneakers are recommended.

Tumbling: This class involves tumbling and stunt work for all ability levels. Specific stunts are required for each class level. Please consult with a teacher for proper placement in a tumbling class. A leotard should be worn by girls, no tights please. T-shirt and shorts are appropriate for boys, Gymnastic shoes or bare feet are acceptable.

Tap: Tap technique classes incorporate both classical and hoofing styles. Classes include combinations and routines. Any dancewear is acceptable.

Musical Theatre: This class is an introduction to musical theatre designed for students age six to eleven. Students participate in song and dance routines to music from musicals and movies, along with acting, voice games, and exercises.

Acting: Designed for students eleven and older, and includes acting exercises, script, monologue and improvisational work. Acting students are invited to audition for the annual “CAC Players” performance, and deliver the skits between numbers at the recital.

Master Classes: All students are encouraged to take advantage of our Master Classes. Nationally recognized teachers are invited into the studio throughout the dance season. Information about theses special classes will be made available as they are scheduled.

PAC Competing Teams: At Studio CAC we are very proud of our PAC competing groups, which consist of eight separate classes: Hype PAC, Champ PAC, Jam PAC, Mighty PAC, Power PAC, Action PAC, and Pee Wee PAC. Auditions are offered in August for these elite groups. PAC dancers are placed into groups based on age and ability. Along with performance opportunities, our PACers also develop a sense of sportsmanship and gain the benefit of being part of a team. For more information on the PAC program please call the studio to set up a meeting time with one of the directors.

Recital

We will have an annual recital in late June. Specific dates and information concerning the recital is given out in November.

Parades

We will be participating in local parades. Specific information concerning parades will be given out at a later date.

Communication

Any other activities that arise will be announced in monthly newsletters and our web site (www.studiocac.com). The newsletters and web site contains information, activities and a calendar of upcoming events.

Viewing

Studio C.A.C. has a viewing area open for parents at all times. Pop in and see your child in action anytime.

Tuition

Tuition is paid monthly. If your child misses a class for any reason a make-up class will be arranged at the parents request.
